Welcome to my Media Studies blog. I have never studied Media before and this will be my first year doing so. I have done video editing and photo editing before so i should have a slight advantage over other students. I am looking forward to recording and editing my work. I have previously worked in Adobe Photoshop and Sony Vegas Pro. Here i will be sharing my camera shots and my editing work. Deodorant compilation. This was the first editing task we were assigned, we were instructed to make a short video showing different deodorants throughout the years. Here is my video: Kuleshov effect. This was our first real task using cameras in our media lesson, we were told to go out around the school and record the Kuleshov effect, which is when the audience mentally gains more information from two shots than one.
